Salmo 33
1 Di Davide, quando si finse pazzo in presenza di Abimelech e, da lui scacciato, se ne andò.

Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,
sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.
2 Io mi glorio nel Signore,
ascoltino gli umili e si rallegrino.
3 Celebrate con me il Signore,
esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.
4 Ho cercato il Signore e mi ha risposto
e da ogni timore mi ha liberato.
5 Guardate a lui e sarete raggianti,
non saranno confusi i vostri volti.
6 Questo povero grida e il Signore lo ascolta,
lo libera da tutte le sue angosce.
7 L’angelo del Signore si accampa
attorno a quelli che lo temono e li salva.
8 Gustate e vedete quanto è buono il Signore;
beato l’uomo che in lui si rifugia.
9 Temete il Signore, suoi santi,
nulla manca a coloro che lo temono.
10 I ricchi impoveriscono e hanno fame,
ma chi cerca il Signore non manca di nulla.
11 Venite, figli, ascoltatemi;
v’insegnerò il timore del Signore.
12 C’è qualcuno che desidera la vita
e brama lunghi giorni per gustare il bene?
13 Preserva la lingua dal male,
le labbra da parole bugiarde.
14 Stà lontano dal male e fà il bene,
cerca la pace e perseguila.
15 Gli occhi del Signore sui giusti,
i suoi orecchi al loro grido di aiuto.
16 Il volto del Signore contro i malfattori,
per cancellarne dalla terra il ricordo.
17 Gridano e il Signore li ascolta,
li salva da tutte le loro angosce.
18 Il Signore è vicino a chi ha il cuore ferito,
egli salva gli spiriti affranti.
19 Molte sono le sventure del giusto,
ma lo libera da tutte il Signore.
20 Preserva tutte le sue ossa,
neppure uno sarà spezzato.
21 La malizia uccide l’empio
e chi odia il giusto sarà punito.
22 Il Signore riscatta la vita dei suoi servi,
chi in lui si rifugia non sarà condannato.

Psaume 33
1 De David. Lorsqu’il contrefit l’insensé en présence d’Abimélec, et qu’il s’en alla chassé par lui.
Je bénirai l’Éternel en tout temps; Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.
2 Que mon âme se glorifie en l’Éternel! Que les malheureux écoutent et se réjouissent!
3 Exaltez avec moi l’Éternel! Célébrons tous son nom!
4 J’ai cherché l’Éternel, et il m’a répondu; Il m’a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs.
5 Quand on tourne vers lui les regards, on est rayonnant de joie, Et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte.
6 Quand un malheureux crie, l’Éternel entend, Et il le sauve de toutes ses détresses.
7 L’ange de l’Éternel campe autour de ceux qui le craignent, Et il les arrache au danger.
8 Sentez et voyez combien l’Éternel est bon! Heureux l’homme qui cherche en lui son refuge!
9 Craignez l’Éternel, vous ses saints! Car rien ne manque à ceux qui le craignent.
10 Les lionceaux éprouvent la disette et la faim, Mais ceux qui cherchent l’Éternel ne sont privés d’aucun bien.
11 Venez, mes fils, écoutez-moi! Je vous enseignerai la crainte de l’Éternel.
12 Quel est l’homme qui aime la vie, Qui désire la prolonger pour jouir du bonheur?
13 Préserve ta langue du mal, Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses;
14 Éloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien; Recherche et poursuis la paix.
15 Les yeux de l’Éternel sont sur les justes, Et ses oreilles sont attentives à leurs cris.
16 L’Éternel tourne sa face contre les méchants, Pour retrancher de la terre leur souvenir.
17 Quand les justes crient, l’Éternel entend, Et il les délivre de toutes leurs détresses;
18 L’Éternel est près de ceux qui ont le coeur brisé, Et il sauve ceux qui ont l’esprit dans l’abattement.
19 Le malheur atteint souvent le juste, Mais l’Éternel l’en délivre toujours.
20 Il garde tous ses os, Aucun d’eux n’est brisé.
21 Le malheur tue le méchant, Et les ennemis du juste sont châtiés.
22 L’Éternel délivre l’âme de ses serviteurs, Et tous ceux qui l’ont pour refuge échappent au châtiment.

Psalm 33
1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:
the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened:
and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him,
and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints:
for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life,
and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones:
not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

الْمَزْمُور ٣٣
مزمورٌ لِداوُدَ [b] عِندَما تَظاهَرَ بِالجُنُونِ أمامَ أبِيمالِكَ فَطَرَدَهُ فَانْصَرَفَ داوُدُ.

أُبارِكُ اللهَ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ.
وَدائِماً تَسبِيحُهُ عَلَى شَفَتَيَّ.
بِاللهِ فَخْرُ نَفْسِي.
لَيتَ المَساكِينَ يَسْمَعُونَنِي لِيَفْرَحُوا!
كَرِّمُوا مَعِي اللهَ.
وَلْنَرْفَعْ مَعاً اسْمَهُ.
إنِّي للهِ لَجَأْتُ، فَأجابَنِي!
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَخاوِفِي خَلَّصَنِي.
انْظُرُوا إلَيهِ وَاسْتَنِيرُوا،
فَلَنْ تَخْجَلَ وُجُوهُكُمْ.
دَعَوْتُ أنا المِسْكِينَ،
فَسَمِعَنِي اللهُ،
وَمِنْ مَتاعِبِي أنقَذَنِي.
مَلاكُ اللهِ يُخَيِّمُ حَولَ خائِفِيهِ،
وَهُوَ يُنقِذُهُمْ.
ذُوقُوا لِتَعرِفُوا ما أطْيَبَ اللهَ.
هَنِيئاً لِلإنسانِ المُتَّكِلِ عَلَيهِ.
اتَّقُوا اللهَ أيُّها المُقَدَّسونَ لَهُ.
لِأنَّ الَّذينَ يَتَّقُونَهُ مُكتَفُونَ وَلا يَنْقُصُهُمْ شَيْءٌ.
حَتَّى الأُسُودُ القَوِيَّةُ تَجُوعُ وَتَحتاجُ،
أمّا المُلتَجِئُونَ إلَى اللهِ، فَلا يَنقُصُهُمْ شَيءٌ مِنَ الخَيرِ.
تَعالَوْا يا أبنائِي وَاستَمِعُوا إلَيَّ،
وَسَأُعَلِّمُكُمْ كَيفَ تَتَّقُونَ اللهَ.
أتُحِبُّ أنْ تَتَمَتَّعَ بِالحَياةِ؟
أتُرِيدُ أنْ تَحيا حَياةً طَوِيلَةً مَملوءَةً بِالخَيْرِ؟
فَاحفَظْ لِسانَكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ،
وَشَفَتَيْكَ مِنَ الكَلامِ المُخادِعِ.
تَجَنَّبِ الشَّرَّ، وَافعَلِ الخَيرَ.
إلَى السَّلامِ اسْعَ، بَلْ جِدَّ فِي طَلَبِهِ!
عَينا اللهِ عَلَى الأبرارِ،
وَأُذُنَيهِ مُنتَبِهَتانِ إلَى صُراخِهِمْ.
لَكِنَّ اللهَ يُقاوِمُ فاعِلِي الشَّرِّ،
حَتَّى يَقطَعَ مِنَ الأرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ.
صَرَخُوا إلَى اللهِ فَسَمِعَهُمْ،
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَتاعِبِهِمْ أنقَذَهُمْ.
اللهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ كَسِيرِي القُلُوبِ،
وَهُوَ يُخَلِّصُ الَّذِينَ انقَطَعَ رَجاؤُهُمْ.
رُبَّما تَكثُرُ ضِيقاتُ الإنْسانِ المُسْتَقِيمِ.
لَكِنْ مِنْها كُلِّها يُخَلِّصُهُ اللهُ.
يَحفَظُ عِظامَهُ كُلَّها،
فَلا يُكسَرُ واحِدٌ مِنْها.
الشِّرِّيرُ سَيَقْتُلُهُ شَرُّهُ.
وَأعداءُ الإنسانِ الصّالِحِ سَيُعاقَبُونَ.
اللهُ يَفدِي حَياةَ عَبِيدِهِ،
يُعْفَى عَنْ كُلِّ المُحتَمِينَ بِهِ.

Salmo 138
Di Davide.
1Ti rendo grazie, Signore, con tutto il cuore:
hai ascoltato le parole della mia bocca.
A te voglio cantare davanti agli angeli,
2 mi prostro verso il tuo tempio santo.
Rendo grazie al tuo nome
per la tua fedeltà e la tua misericordia:
hai reso la tua promessa più grande di ogni fama.
3 Nel giorno in cui t’ho invocato, mi hai risposto,
hai accresciuto in me la forza.
4 Ti loderanno, Signore, tutti i re della terra
quando udranno le parole della tua bocca.
5 Canteranno le vie del Signore,
perché grande è la gloria del Signore;
6 eccelso è il Signore e guarda verso l’umile
ma al superbo volge lo sguardo da lontano.
7 Se cammino in mezzo alla sventura
tu mi ridoni vita;
contro l’ira dei miei nemici stendi la mano
e la tua destra mi salva.
8 Il Signore completerà per me l’opera sua.
Signore, la tua bontà dura per sempre:
non abbandonare l’opera delle tue mani.

Psaume 138
De David.
1Je te célèbre de tout mon cœur,
Je chante tes louanges en la présence de Dieu.
2 Je me prosterne dans ton saint temple,
Et je célèbre ton nom, à cause de ta bonté et de ta fidélité,
Car ta renommée s’est accrue par l’accomplissement de tes promesses.
3 Le jour où je t’ai invoqué, tu m’as exaucé,
Tu m’as rassuré, tu as fortifié mon âme.
4 Tous les rois de la terre te loueront, ô Seigneur !
En entendant les paroles de ta bouche ;
5 Ils célébreront les voies du Seigneur,
Car la gloire du Seigneur est grande.
6 Le Seigneur est élevé : il voit les humbles,
Il reconnaît de loin les orgueilleux.
7 Quand je marche au milieu de la détresse, tu me rends la vie,
Tu étends ta main sur la colère de mes ennemis,
Ta droite me sauve.
8 Le Seigneur agira en ma faveur. Seigneur, ta bonté dure toujours,
N’abandonne pas l’œuvre de tes mains !

Psalm 138
Of David.
1I will praise Thee with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise unto Thee.
2 I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth, for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.
3 In the day when I cried, Thou answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise Thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of Thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly, but the proud He knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me; Thou shalt stretch forth Thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand shall save me.
8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.

1أحمَدُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ قَلبِي يا اللهُ.

وَأُحمَدُ اسْمَكَ
مِنْ أجلِ أمانَتِكَ وَمَحَبَّتِكَ.
لأنَّكَ رَفَعْتَ اسْمَكَ وَكَلِمَتَكَ فَوقَ كُلِّ شَيءٍ.
3 استَجَبتَ لِي يَومَ دَعَوتُكَ،
وَشَدَّدْتَ نَفسِي.
4 سَيُسَبِّحُكَ، يا اللهُ، كُلُّ مُلُوكِ الأرْضِ
حِينَ يَسمَعُونَ كَلامَكَ.
5 وَليَتَغَنُّوا بِما يَفعَلُهُ اللهُ
لأنَّ مَجدَ اللهِ عَظِيمٌ!
6 اللهُ مُمَجَّدٌ، غَيرَ أنَّهُ يَنتَبِهُ لِلمُتَواضِعِينَ،
وَيَعرِفُ المُتَعالِينَ لَكِنَّهُ يَنأى عَنهُمْ.
7 إنْ سِرتُ فِي وَسَطِ ضِيقٍ
لا تَدَعُ غَضَبَ عَدُوِّيَ يَقضِي عَلَيَّ،
بَلْ تَمُدُّ يَدَكَ وَتُخَلِّصُنِي بِيَمِينِكَ.
8 اللهُ سَيَقتَصُّ لِي مِنْ أعدائِي
لأنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ إلَى الأبَدِ،
يا اللهُ.
أنتَ خَلَقْتَنا بِيَدَيكَ،
فَلا تَتَخَلَّ عَنّا.

145 T’invoco con tutto il cuore, Signore, rispondimi;
custodirò i tuoi precetti.
146 Io ti chiamo, salvami,
e seguirò i tuoi insegnamenti.
147 Precedo l’aurora e grido aiuto,
spero sulla tua parola.
148 I miei occhi prevengono le veglie
per meditare sulle tue promesse.
149 Ascolta la mia voce, secondo la tua grazia;
Signore, fammi vivere secondo il tuo giudizio.
150 A tradimento mi assediano i miei persecutori,
sono lontani dalla tua legge.
151 Ma tu, Signore, sei vicino,
tutti i tuoi precetti sono veri.
152 Da tempo conosco le tue testimonianze
che hai stabilite per sempre.
153 Vedi la mia miseria, salvami,
perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge.

155 Lontano dagli empi è la salvezza,
perché non cercano il tuo volere.

perché non custodiscono la tua parola.
159 Vedi che io amo i tuoi precetti,
Signore, secondo la tua grazia dammi vita.
160 La verità è principio della tua parola,
resta per sempre ogni sentenza della tua giustizia.

151 Tu es proche, ô Éternel! Et tous tes commandements sont la vérité.
152 Dès longtemps je sais par tes préceptes Que tu les as établis pour toujours.
153 Vois ma misère, et délivre-moi! Car je n’oublie point ta loi.

155 Le salut est loin des méchants, Car ils ne recherchent pas tes statuts.

I hoped in thy word.

O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief:
they are far from thy law.
151 Thou art near, O Lord;
and all thy commandments are truth.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old
that thou hast founded them forever.
153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me:
for I do not forget thy law.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver me:
quicken me according to thy word.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked:
for they seek not thy statutes.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord:
quicken me according to thy judgments.
157 Many are my persecutors and mine enemies;
yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved;
because they kept not thy word.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts:
quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.
160 Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever.

145 شَرائِعُكَ أحفَظُها يا اللهُ.
مِنْ كُلِّ قَلبِي دَعَوتُ، فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي!

لِكَي أحفَظَ عَهدَكَ.

وَوَصاياكَ حَقَّةٌ وَمَوثُوقَةٌ.
152 وَأنا تَعَلَّمتُ مُنذُ زَمَنٍ بَعِيدٍ عَنْ شَهاداتِكَ،
أنَّكَ إلَى الأبَدِ تَحفَظُها.
153 انظُرْ إلَى مُعاناتِي وَأنقِذْنِي،
لأنِّي لَمْ أنسَ تَعالِيمَكَ.
154 حارِبْ حَربِي وَافدِنِي.
أَحيِنِي بِحَسَبِ كَلِمَتِكَ.
155 بَعِيدٌ هُوَ الخَلاصُ عَنِ الأشرارِ
لأنَّهُمْ لا يُحاوِلُونَ حَتَّى أنْ يُطِيعُوا شَرائِعَكَ.
156 عَظِيمَةٌ هِيَ مَراحِمُكَ يا اللهُ،
فَأحْيِنِي بِعَدلِكَ.
157 أعداءٌ كَثِيرُونَ يَضطَهِدُونَنِي،
أمّا أنا فَلَمْ أضِلَّ عَنْ عَهدِكَ.
158 أرَى الخَوَنَةَ الَّذِينَ لا يَحفَظُونَ كَلِمَتَكَ،
فَأرفُضُهُمْ!
159 انظُرْ كَمْ أحبَبتُ وَصاياكَ.
فَأحْيِنِي حَسَبَ رَحمَتِكَ.

1 In te mi rifugio, Signore,
ch’io non resti confuso in eterno.
2 Liberami, difendimi per la tua giustizia,
porgimi ascolto e salvami.
3 Sii per me rupe di difesa,
baluardo inaccessibile,
poiché tu sei mio rifugio e mia fortezza.
4 Mio Dio, salvami dalle mani dell’empio,
dalle mani dell’iniquo e dell’oppressore.
5 Sei tu, Signore, la mia speranza,
la mia fiducia fin dalla mia giovinezza.
6 Su di te mi appoggiai fin dal grembo materno,
dal seno di mia madre tu sei il mio sostegno;
a te la mia lode senza fine.
7 Sono parso a molti quasi un prodigio:
eri tu il mio rifugio sicuro.
8 Della tua lode è piena la mia bocca,
della tua gloria, tutto il giorno.
9 Non abbandonarmi quando declinano le mie forze.
10 Contro di me parlano i miei nemici,
coloro che mi spiano congiurano insieme:
11 «Dio lo ha abbandonato,
inseguitelo, prendetelo,
perché non ha chi lo liberi».
12 O Dio, non stare lontano:
Dio mio, vieni presto ad aiutarmi.
13 Siano confusi e annientati quanti mi accusano,
siano coperti d’infamia e di vergogna
quanti cercano la mia sventura.
14 Io, invece, non cesso di sperare,
moltiplicherò le tue lodi.
15 La mia bocca annunzierà la tua giustizia,
proclamerà sempre la tua salvezza,
che non so misurare.
16 Dirò le meraviglie del Signore,
ricorderò che tu solo sei giusto.
17 Tu mi hai istruito, o Dio, fin dalla giovinezza
e ancora oggi proclamo i tuoi prodigi.
18 E ora, nella canizie,
Dio, non abbandonarmi,
finché io annunzi la tua potenza,
a tutte le generazioni le tue meraviglie.
19 La tua giustizia, Dio, è alta come il cielo,
tu hai fatto cose grandi:
chi è come te, o Dio?
20 Mi hai fatto provare molte angosce e sventure:
mi darai ancora vita,
mi farai risalire dagli abissi della terra,
21 accrescerai la mia grandezza
e tornerai a consolarmi.
22 Allora ti renderò grazie sull’arpa,
per la tua fedeltà, o mio Dio;
ti canterò sulla cetra, o santo d’Israele.
23 Cantando le tue lodi, esulteranno le mie labbra
e la mia vita, che tu hai riscattato.
24 Anche la mia lingua tutto il giorno
proclamerà la tua giustizia,
quando saranno confusi e umiliati
quelli che cercano la mia rovina.

Psaume 71
1 Seigneur! je cherche en toi mon refuge:
Que jamais je ne sois confondu!
2 Dans ta justice, sauve-moi et délivre-moi!
Incline vers moi ton oreille, et secours-moi!
3 Sois pour moi un rocher qui me serve d’asile,
Où je puisse toujours me retirer!
Tu as résolu de me sauver,
Car tu es mon rocher et ma forteresse.
4 Mon Dieu, délivre-moi de la main du méchant,
De la main de l’homme inique et violent!
5 Car tu es mon espérance, Seigneur, Seigneur!
En toi je me confie dès ma jeunesse.
6 Dès le ventre de ma mère je m’appuie sur toi;
C’est toi qui m’as fait sortir du sein maternel;
Tu es sans cesse l’objet de mes louanges.
7 Je suis pour plusieurs comme un prodige,
Et toi, tu es mon puissant refuge.
8 Que ma bouche soit remplie de tes louanges,
Que chaque jour elle te glorifie!
9 Ne me rejette pas quand mes forces s’en vont,
Ne m’abandonne pas!
10 Car mes ennemis parlent de moi,
Et ceux qui guettent ma vie se consultent entre eux,
11 Disant: Dieu l’abandonne;
Poursuivez, saisissez-le; il n’y a personne pour le délivrer.
12 O Dieu, ne t’éloigne pas de moi!
Mon Dieu, viens en hâte à mon secours!
13 Qu’ils soient confus, exterminés, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie!
Qu’ils soient couverts de honte et d’opprobre, ceux qui cherchent ma perte!
14 Et moi, j’espérerai toujours,
Je te louerai de plus en plus.
15 Ma bouche publiera ta justice, ton salut, chaque jour,
Car j’ignore quelles en sont les bornes.
16 Je dirai tes œuvres puissantes, Seigneur, Seigneur!
Je rappellerai ta justice, la tienne seule.
17 O Dieu! tu m’as instruit dès ma jeunesse,
Et jusqu’à présent j’annonce tes merveilles.
18 Ne m’abandonne pas, ô Dieu!
Afin que j’annonce ta force à la génération présente,
Ta puissance à la génération future!
19 Ta justice, ô Dieu! atteint jusqu’au ciel;
Tu as accompli de grandes choses: ô Dieu! qui est semblable à toi?
20 Tu nous as fait éprouver bien des détresses et des malheurs;
Mais tu nous redonneras la vie,
Tu nous feras remonter des abîmes de la terre.
21 Relève ma grandeur,
Console-moi de nouveau!
22 Et je te louerai au son du luth, je chanterai ta fidélité, mon Dieu,
Je te célébrerai avec la harpe, Saint d’Israël!
23 En te célébrant, j’aurai la joie sur les lèvres,
La joie dans mon âme que tu as délivrée;

Psalm 71
1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust:
let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape:
incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort:
thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked,
out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God:
thou art my trust from my youth.
6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb:
thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels:

until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation,
and thy power to every one that is to come.
19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things:
O God, who is like unto thee!

and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

جَعَلْتُ فِيكَ مَلْجَأِي يا اللهُ،
فَلا تَدَعْنِي أُخزَى أبَداً.
لأنَّكَ مُستَقِيمٌ، سَتُخَلِّصُنِي وَتُنَجِّينِي.
فَأمِلْ إلَيَّ أُذُنَكَ وَخَلِّصْنِي!
كُنْ صَخَرَةَ مَلْجَأِي،
أهرُبُ إلَيها دائِماً!
مُرْ بِخَلاصِي!
لأنَّكَ أنتَ صَخرَتِي،

مُنذُ شَبابِي اتَّكَلتُ عَلَيكَ يا اللهُ.
مُنذُ وِلادَتِي وُضِعْتُ تَحتَ عِنايَتِكَ.
مُنذُ وُلِدْتُ أعَنْتَنِي.
بِفَضلِكَ أُسَبِّحُ دائِماً.
صِرتُ مَثَلاً لِكَثِيرِينَ،
لَكِنَّكَ أنتَ قَلعَتِي القَوِيَّةُ.
لَيتَ فَمِي يَمتَلِئُ بِتَسْبِيحِكَ
وَبِتَمْجِيدِكَ كُلَّ اليَومِ.
لا تَرْمِنِي بَعِيداً.
لا تَتَخَلَّ عَنِّي عِندَ ضَياعِ قُوَّتِي.
أعدائِي يَتَآمِرُونَ مَعاً عَلَيَّ،
وَالَّذِينَ يَكمُنُونَ لِقَتلِي يَتَشاوَرُونَ.
قالُوا: «لَيسَ مَنْ يُنقِذُهُ.
تَرَكَهُ اللهُ،
فَلْنُطارِدْهُ وَنُمسِكْ بِهِ.»
لا تَبْعُدْ عَنِّي يا إلَهِي.
أَسرِعْ إلَى مَعُونَتِي!
لَيْتَ أعدائِيَ يَخزَونَ وَيَفنُونَ.
لَيْتَ السّاعِينَ إلَى أذِيَّتِي يَعرِفُونَ العارَ وَالخِزيَ إلَى الأبَدِ!
لَكِنِّي سَأظَلُّ أنتَظِرُكَ،
وَسَأُسَبِّحُكَ أكثَرَ فَأكثَرَ!
يَنبَغِي أنْ يَذكُرَ الإنسانُ دَوماً أعمالَكَ الصّالِحَةَ.
وَيُخبِرَ بِصَنائِعِ خَلاصِكَ،
لأنِّي لا أعرِفُ لَها عَدَداً.
سَأُخبِرُ بِجَبَرُوتِكَ أيُّها الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ،
وَسَأُذَكِّرُ بِرَّكَ وَحدَكَ!
مُنذُ شَبابِي دَرَّبْتَنِي يا اللهُ.
وَأنا إلَى الآنَ أُخْبِرُ بِصَنائِعِكَ العَجِيبَةِ.
فَلا تَتَخَلَّ عَنِّي يا اللهُ،
لِكَي أُخبِرَ الجِيلَ الآتِيَ بِقُوَّتِكَ!
عَظِيمَةٌ وَمُرْتَفِعَةٌ أعمالُكَ الصّالِحَةُ يا اللهُ،
تَصِلُ إلَى أعلَى السَّماواتِ
الَّتِي أنْتَ بِنَفسِكَ صَنَعتَها.
لا مِثلَ لَكَ يا اللهُ!
أنتَ أرَيتَنا كُلَّ هَذِهِ الضِّيقاتِ وَالمَصائِبِ.
يا رَبُّ عُدْ وَأحْيِنِي.
عُدْ، وَمِنْ أعماقِ الأرْضِ انْشِلْنِي.
زِدْ أعمالَكَ القَوِيَّةَ الكَثِيرَةَ،
التَفِتْ إلَيَّ وَعَزِّنِي.
عِندَ ذَلِكَ سَأعزِفُ عَلَى القِيثارِ
وَأُسَبِّحُكَ عَلَى أمانَتِكَ.
عَلَى العُودِ سَأُرَنِّمُ تَسابِيحَكَ،
يا قُدُّوسَ إسرائِيلَ. أنقَذتَ نَفْسِي،
لِهَذا تَبتَهِجُ وَتُرَنِّمُ شَفَتايَ تَسابِيحَكَ!
وَلِسانِي سَيُعلِنُ أعمالَكَ الصّالِحَةَ طُولَ اليَومِ.
لأنَّ الَّذِينَ سَعُوا إلَى أذِيَّتِي هُمُ الَّذِينَ خَزُوا وَخَجِلُوا.

Ho sperato: ho sperato nel Signore
ed egli su di me si è chinato,
ha dato ascolto al mio grido.
3 Mi ha tratto dalla fossa della morte,
dal fango della palude;
i miei piedi ha stabilito sulla roccia,
ha reso sicuri i miei passi.
4 Mi ha messo sulla bocca un canto nuovo,
lode al nostro Dio.
Molti vedranno e avranno timore
e confideranno nel Signore.
5 Beato l’uomo che spera nel Signore
e non si mette dalla parte dei superbi,
né si volge a chi segue la menzogna.
6 Quanti prodigi tu hai fatto, Signore Dio mio,
quali disegni in nostro favore:
nessuno a te si può paragonare.
Se li voglio annunziare e proclamare
sono troppi per essere contati.
7 Sacrificio e offerta non gradisci,
gli orecchi mi hai aperto.
Non hai chiesto olocausto e vittima per la colpa.
8 Allora ho detto: «Ecco, io vengo.
Sul rotolo del libro di me è scritto,
9 che io faccia il tuo volere.
Mio Dio, questo io desidero,
la tua legge è nel profondo del mio cuore».
10 Ho annunziato la tua giustizia nella grande assemblea;
vedi, non tengo chiuse le labbra, Signore, tu lo sai.
11 Non ho nascosto la tua giustizia in fondo al cuore,
la tua fedeltà e la tua salvezza ho proclamato.
Non ho nascosto la tua grazia
e la tua fedeltà alla grande assemblea.
12 Non rifiutarmi, Signore, la tua misericordia,
la tua fedeltà e la tua grazia
mi proteggano sempre,
13 poiché mi circondano mali senza numero,

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.
10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

انْتَظَرْتُ اللهَ بِصَبْرٍ.
فَالتَفَتَ إلَيَّ وَسَمِعَ صُراخِي.
مِنَ المَوْتِ نَشَلَنِي.
أخرَجَنِي مِنَ الوَحلِ.
عَلَى أرْضٍ ثابِتَةٍ وَضَعَ قَدَمَيَّ،
وَثَبَّتَ خَطَواتِي.
وَضَعَ تَرنِيمَةً جَدِيدَةً عَلَى شَفَتَيَّ،
تَرنِيمَةَ شُكْرٍ لإلَهِنا.
كَثِيرُونَ سَيَرَوْنَ أعْمالَهُ،
فَيَهابُونَ اللهِ وَيَتَّكِلُونَ عَلَيهِ.
هَنِيئاً لِمَنْ وَضَعَ ثِقَتَهُ فِي اللهِ،
وَلا يَلجَأُ إلَى الشَّياطِينِ وَالآلِهَةِ المُزَيَّفَةِ.
يا إلَهِي، أنتَ صَنَعْتَ عَجائِبَ كَثِيرَةً.
رائِعَةٌ هِيَ خُطَطُكَ لَنا،
وَلَيسَ مَنْ يَقدِرُ أنْ يَذكُرَها كُلَّها.
سَأُخبِرُ بِها مَرَّةً بَعدَ مَرَّةٍ، مَعَ أنَّها لا تُحصَى.
أنتَ لا تُسَرُّ بِالذَّبائِحِ وَالقَرابِينِ،
بَلْ فَتَحْتُ أُذُنَيَّ لِصَوتِكَ.
لَمْ تَطلُبْ ذَبائِحَ صاعِدَةً وَذَبائِحَ خَطِيَّةٍ.
لِهَذا قُلْتُ: «ها قَدْ جِئْتُ.
مَكتُوبٌ هَذا عَنِّي فِي الكِتابِ.
رَغبَتِي أنْ أفعَلَ مَشِيئَتَكَ يا إلَهِي،
وَشَرِيعَتُكَ هِيَ فِي قَلْبِي.»
بَشَّرْتُ بِأعمالِكَ الحَسَنَةِ بَينَ الجَماعَةِ الكَبِيرَةِ.
وَأنتَ، يا اللهُ، تَعلَمُ أنَّنِي لا أُقفِلُ شَفَتَيَّ.
لَمْ أكتِمْ فِي قَلبِي أعمالَكَ الصّالِحَةَ.
بَلْ جاهَرْتُ بِإخلاصِكَ وَخَلاصِكَ.
عَنِ الجَماعَةِ الكَبِيرَةِ لَمْ أُخفِ شَيئاً
مِنْ صِدْقِ مَحَبَّتِكَ وَأمانَتِكَ.
فَلا تَمنَعْ، يا اللهُ، عَنِّي رَحمَتِكَ.
وَبِصِدْقِ مَحَبَّتِكَ وَأمانَتِكَ احمِنِي دَوْماً.
لِأنَّ أشْراراً بِلا عَدَدٍ قَدْ حاصَرُونِي.
وَخَطايايَ أمسَكَتْ بِي وَلا أرَى مَهرَباً.
خَطايايَ أكثَرُ مِنْ شَعْرِ رَأْسِي.
وَشَجاعَتِي فارَقَتْنِي.
أرْجُوكَ أنقِذْنِي يا اللهُ!
يا اللهُ، أسرِعْ إلَى مَعُونَتِي!
لَيتَ السّاعِينَ إلَى مَوْتِي يَخزَوْنَ وَيُهزَمُونَ!
لَيتَ مَنْ يُرِيدُونَ أذِيَّتِي يَسقُطُونَ

Cantique des montées.
1Je lève mes yeux vers toi,
Qui sièges dans les cieux.
2 Voici, comme les yeux des serviteurs sont fixés sur la main de leurs maîtres,
Et les yeux de la servante sur la main de sa maîtresse,
Ainsi nos yeux se tournent vers l’Eternel, notre Dieu,
Jusqu’à ce qu’il ait pitié de nous.
3 Aie pitié de nous, Eternel, aie pitié de nous!
Car nous sommes assez rassasiés de mépris;
4 Notre âme est assez rassasiée
Des moqueries des orgueilleux, du mépris des hautains.

Psalm 123
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord our God,
till he shows us his mercy.
3 Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us,
for we have endured no end of contempt.
4 We have endured no end
of ridicule from the arrogant,
of contempt from the proud.

مزمور ١۲٣
١ تَرنِيمَةٌ لِلصُّعُودِ إلَى الهَيكَل.
إلَيكَ أرفَعُ عَينَيَّ،
أيُّها المُتَوَّجُ فِي السَّماءِ!
۲ كَما يَعتَمِدُ العَبدُ عَلَى سَيِّدِهِ،
وَالخادِمَةُ عَلَى سَيِّدَتِها،
هَكَذا نَحنُ نَتَّكِلُ عَلَى إلَهِنا
لِكَي يُبدِيَ لَنا رَحمَةً
٣ ارحَمْنا، يا اللهُ، ارحَمنا،
فَقَدِ اكتَفَينا مِنَ الذُّلِّ!
٤ مِنَ الإهاناتِ وَالاسْتِهزاءِ
مِنْ أُولَئِكَ المُرتاحِينَ المُتَغَطرِسِينَ

Salmo 37 Di Davide.

1 Non adirarti contro gli empi
non invidiare i malfattori.
2 Come fieno presto appassiranno,
cadranno come erba del prato.
3 Confida nel Signore e fà il bene;
abita la terra e vivi con fede.
4 Cerca la gioia del Signore,
esaudirà i desideri del tuo cuore.
5 Manifesta al Signore la tua via,
confida in lui: compirà la sua opera;
6 farà brillare come luce la tua giustizia,
come il meriggio il tuo diritto.
7 Stà in silenzio davanti al Signore e spera in lui;
non irritarti per chi ha successo,
per l’uomo che trama insidie.
8 Desisti dall’ira e deponi lo sdegno,
non irritarti: faresti del male,
9 poiché i malvagi saranno sterminati,
ma chi spera nel Signore possederà la terra.
10 Ancora un poco e l’empio scompare,
cerchi il suo posto e più non lo trovi.
11 I miti invece possederanno la terra
e godranno di una grande pace.
12 L’empio trama contro il giusto,
contro di lui digrigna i denti.
13 Ma il Signore ride dell’empio,
perché vede arrivare il suo giorno.
14 Gli empi sfoderano la spada
e tendono l’arco
per abbattere il misero e l’indigente,
per uccidere chi cammina sulla retta via.
15 La loro spada raggiungerà il loro cuore
e i loro archi si spezzeranno.
16 Il poco del giusto è cosa migliore
dell’abbondanza degli empi;
17 perché le braccia degli empi saranno spezzate,
ma il Signore è il sostegno dei giusti.
18 Conosce il Signore la vita dei buoni,
la loro eredità durerà per sempre.
19 Non saranno confusi nel tempo della sventura
e nei giorni della fame saranno saziati.
20 Poiché gli empi periranno,
i nemici del Signore appassiranno
come lo splendore dei prati,
tutti come fumo svaniranno.
21 L’empio prende in prestito e non restituisce,
ma il giusto ha compassione e dà in dono.
22 Chi è benedetto da Dio possederà la terra,
ma chi è maledetto sarà sterminato.
23 Il Signore fa sicuri i passi dell’uomo
e segue con amore il suo cammino.
24 Se cade, non rimane a terra,
perché il Signore lo tiene per mano.
25 Sono stato fanciullo e ora sono vecchio,
non ho mai visto il giusto abbandonato
né i suoi figli mendicare il pane.
26 Egli ha sempre compassione e dà in prestito,
per questo la sua stirpe è benedetta.
27 Stà lontano dal male e fà il bene,
e avrai sempre una casa.
28 Perché il Signore ama la giustizia
e non abbandona i suoi fedeli;
gli empi saranno distrutti per sempre
e la loro stirpe sarà sterminata.
29 I giusti possederanno la terra
e la abiteranno per sempre.
30 La bocca del giusto proclama la sapienza,
e la sua lingua esprime la giustizia;
31 la legge del suo Dio è nel suo cuore,
i suoi passi non vacilleranno.
32 L’empio spia il giusto
e cerca di farlo morire.
33 Il Signore non lo abbandona alla sua mano,
nel giudizio non lo lascia condannare.
34 Spera nel Signore e segui la sua via:
ti esalterà e tu possederai la terra
e vedrai lo sterminio degli empi.
35 Ho visto l’empio trionfante
ergersi come cedro rigoglioso;
36 sono passato e più non c’era,
l’ho cercato e più non si è trovato.
37 Osserva il giusto e vedi l’uomo retto,
l’uomo di pace avrà una discendenza.
38 Ma tutti i peccatori saranno distrutti,
la discendenza degli empi sarà sterminata.
39 La salvezza dei giusti viene dal Signore,
nel tempo dell’angoscia è loro difesa;
40 il Signore viene in loro aiuto e li scampa,
li libera dagli empi e dà loro salvezza,
perché in lui si sono rifugiati.

Psalm 37
Of David.
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous rewardshine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lordwill inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous.
18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,
and their inheritance will endure forever.
19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
20 But the wicked will perish:
Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.
21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
but those he curses will be destroyed.
23 The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be a blessing.
27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish.
29 The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.
30 The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom,
and their tongues speak what is just.
31 The law of their God is in their hearts;
their feet do not slip.
32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
intent on putting them to death;
33 but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked
or let them be condemned when brought to trial.
34 Hope in the Lord
and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are destroyed,you will see it.
35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
though I looked for him, he could not be found.
37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
a future awaits those who seek peace.

38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
there will be no future for the wicked.
39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 The Lord helps them and deliversthem;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

Psaume 37 De David.
1 Ne t’irrite pas contre les méchants, N’envie pas ceux qui font le mal.
2 Car ils sont fauchés aussi vite que l’herbe, Et ils se flétrissent comme le gazon vert.
3 Confie-toi en l’Éternel, et pratique le bien; Aie le pays pour demeure et la fidélité pour pâture.
4 Fais de l’Éternel tes délices, Et il te donnera ce que ton coeur désire.
5 Recommande ton sort à l’Éternel, Mets en lui ta confiance, et il agira.
6 Il fera paraître ta justice comme la lumière, Et ton droit comme le soleil à son midi.
7 Garde le silence devant l’Éternel, et espère en lui; Ne t’irrite pas contre celui qui réussit dans ses voies, Contre l’homme qui vient à bout de ses mauvais desseins.
8 Laisse la colère, abandonne la fureur; Ne t’irrite pas, ce serait mal faire.
9 Car les méchants seront retranchés, Et ceux qui espèrent en l’Éternel posséderont le pays.
10 Encore un peu de temps, et le méchant n’est plus; Tu regardes le lieu où il était, et il a disparu.
11 Les misérables possèdent le pays, Et ils jouissent abondamment de la paix.
12 Le méchant forme des projets contre le juste, Et il grince des dents contre lui.
13 Le Seigneur se rit du méchant, Car il voit que son jour arrive.
14 Les méchants tirent le glaive, Ils bandent leur arc, Pour faire tomber le malheureux et l’indigent, Pour égorger ceux dont la voie est droite.
15 Leur glaive entre dans leur propre coeur, Et leurs arcs se brisent.
16 Mieux vaut le peu du juste Que l’abondance de beaucoup de méchants;
17 Car les bras des méchants seront brisés, Mais l’Éternel soutient les justes.
18 L’Éternel connaît les jours des hommes intègres, Et leur héritage dure à jamais.
19 Ils ne sont pas confondus au temps du malheur, Et ils sont rassasiés aux jours de la famine.
20 Mais les méchants périssent, Et les ennemis de l’Éternel, comme les plus beaux pâturages; Ils s’évanouissent, ils s’évanouissent en fumée.
21 Le méchant emprunte, et il ne rend pas; Le juste est compatissant, et il donne.
22 Car ceux que bénit l’Éternel possèdent le pays, Et ceux qu’il maudit sont retranchés.
23 L’Éternel affermit les pas de l’homme, Et il prend plaisir à sa voie;
24 S’il tombe, il n’est pas terrassé, Car l’Éternel lui prend la main.
25 J’ai été jeune, j’ai vieilli; Et je n’ai point vu le juste abandonné, Ni sa postérité mendiant son pain.
26 Toujours il est compatissant, et il prête; Et sa postérité est bénie.
27 Détourne-toi du mal, fais le bien, Et possède à jamais ta demeure.
28 Car l’Éternel aime la justice, Et il n’abandonne pas ses fidèles; Ils sont toujours sous sa garde, Mais la postérité des méchants est retranchée.
29 Les justes posséderont le pays, Et ils y demeureront à jamais.
30 La bouche du juste annonce la sagesse, Et sa langue proclame la justice.
31 La loi de son Dieu est dans son coeur; Ses pas ne chancellent point.
32 Le méchant épie le juste, Et il cherche à le faire mourir.
33 L’Éternel ne le laisse pas entre ses mains, Et il ne le condamne pas quand il est en jugement.
34 Espère en l’Éternel, garde sa voie, Et il t’élèvera pour que tu possèdes le pays; Tu verras les méchants retranchés.
35 J’ai vu le méchant dans toute sa puissance; Il s’étendait comme un arbre verdoyant.
36 Il a passé, et voici, il n’est plus; Je le cherche, et il ne se trouve plus.
37 Observe celui qui est intègre, et regarde celui qui est droit; Car il y a une postérité pour l’homme de paix.
38 Mais les rebelles sont tous anéantis, La postérité des méchants est retranchée.
39 Le salut des justes vient de l’Éternel; Il est leur protecteur au temps de la détresse.
40 L’Éternel les secourt et les délivre; Il les délivre des méchants et les sauve, Parce qu’ils cherchent en lui leur refuge.

مزمور 37

لا يُزعْجْكَ الأشْرارُ.
وَلا تَحسِدْ مَنْ يَقتَرِفُونَ الآثامَ.
2 لِأنَّهُمْ سَرْعانَ ما يُذَلُّونَ وَيَمُوتُونَ،
يَذْبُلُونَ مِثلَ الحَشائِشِ الَّتِي تَنمُو فِي الحُقُولِ.
3 عَلَى اللهِ اتَّكِلْ، وَافْعَلِ الخَيرَ.
وَسَتَسكُنُ أرْضَكَ وَتَنْعُمُ بِالأمانِ.
4 تَلَذَّذْ بِاللهِ،
وَسَيُعطِيكَ مُشْتَهَياتِ قَلْبِكَ.
5 سَلِّمْ للهِ حَياتَكَ،
وَاتَّكِلْ عَلَيهِ، وَهُوَ سَيَعْمَلُ.
6 سَيَجْعَلُ صَلاحَكَ يُشْرِقُ كَالضِّياءِ،
وَعَدلَكَ كَشَمْسِ الظَّهِيرَةِ.
7 اثبُتْ فِي حَضرَةِ اللهَ، وَانتَظِرْهُ بِصَبرٍ.
وَلا تَقلَقْ إذا نَجَحَتْ خُطَطُ ذَوِي المَكائِدِ الشِّرِّيرَةِ.
8 لا تَنزَعِجْ وَلا تَغْضَبْ!
وَلا تَغْتَظْ فَتَنْدَفِعَ إلَى الشَّرِّ.
9 لِأنَّ الأشْرارَ سَيَهلِكُونَ،
أمّا الَّذِينَ يَنتَظِرُونَ اللهَ، فَسَيَمْتَلِكُونَ الأرْضَ.
10 بَعْدَ وَقْتٍ قَلِيلٍ، يَمضِي الشِّرِّيرُ.
تُفَتِّشُ عَنْهُ طَوِيلا، فَلا تَجِدُهُ!
11 أمّا الوُدَعاءُ فَسَيَمْتَلِكُونَ الأرْضَ،
وَيَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِسَلامٍ وَخَيرٍ.
12 الأشْرارُ يَكِيدُونَ دَوْماً لِلصّالِحِينَ،
وَيُظهِرُونَ بُغضَهُمْ لَهُمْ.
13 لَكِنَّ اللهَ يَسْخَرُ مِنْهُمْ!
لِأنَّهُ يَعْرِفُ أنَّ يَوْمَهُمْ آتٍ!
14 يَستَلُّ الأشْرارُ سُيُوفَهُمْ وَيَمُدُّونَ أقواسَهُمْ.
لِقَتلِ المَساكِينِ وَذَبْحِ الصّالِحِينَ المُستَقِيمِينَ.
15 لَكِنَّ سُيُوفَهُمْ سَتَختَرِقُ قُلُوبَهُمْ،
وَأقواسَهُمْ سَتَنكَسِرُ.
16 القَلِيلُ الَّذِي يَملِكُهُ البارُّ
خَيرٌ مِنَ الثَّروَةِ العَظِيمَةِ الَّتِي يُكَدِّسُها الأشْرارُ.
17 لِأنَّ قُوَّةَ الأشْرارِ سَتُكْسَرُ،
أمّا الصّالِحُونَ، فَاللهُ يَعتَنِي بِهِمْ.
18 اللهُ يَعلَمُ مَنْ هُمُ الطّاهِرُونَ،
وَثَوابُهُمْ يَدُومُ إلَى الأبَدِ!
19 فِي الأزمِنَةِ العَصِيبَةِ لَنْ يَخزُوا،
وَفِي أيّامِ الجُوعِ يَشْبَعُونَ.
20 أمّا الأشْرارُ فَسَيَهلِكُونَ.
فَأعداءُ اللهِ أشْبَهُ بِزُهُورِ الحَقلِ الجَمِيلَةِ،
الَّتِي تَصعَدُ ذاتَ يَوْمٍ فِي الدُّخانِ!
21 الشِّرِّيرُ يَستَدِينُ المالَ
وَلا يَسُدُّ دَيْنَهُ،
أمّا الصّالِحُ فَكَرِيمٌ مِعْطاءٌ.
22 لِأنَّ مَنْ يُبارِكهُمُ اللهُ يَمْتَلِكُونَ الأرْضَ،
وَمَنْ يَلعَنُهُمْ يَهلِكُونَ.
23 يُثَبِّتُ اللهُ خَطَواتِ الإنسانِ
الَّذِي تُرضِيهِ طَرِيقُهُ.
24 إذا تَعَثَّرَ، لا يَسقُطُ،
فَاللهُ حاضِرٌ لِيَسنِدَهُ وَيُثَبِّتَهُ.
25 عَمَّرْتُ طَوِيلاً،
وَلَمْ أرَ بارّاً مَتْرُوكاً،
وَلَمْ أرَ أبناءَهُ يَستَعْطُونَ طَعاماً.
26 بَلْ هُوَ شَفُوقٌ دَوْماً وَيُقْرِضُ بِسَخاءٍ،
وَالبَرَكَةُ نَصِيبُ أبْنائِهِ.
27 فَتَجَنَّبِ الشَّرَّ، وَافعَلِ الخَيرَ
وَلَنْ تَكُونَ بِلا مَأوَى.
28 لِأنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الإنصافَ.
وَلا يَترُكُ أتباعَهُ الأُمَناءَ.
إلَى الأبَدِ يَرعاهُمْ،
أمّا نَسلُ الأشْرارِ فَيُقطَعُ.
29 يَأخُذُ الصّالِحُونَ الأرْضَ المَوعُودَةَ،
وَإلَى الأبَدِ يَسكُنُونَها.
30 بِحِكْمَةٍ يَتَكَلَّمُ الإنسانُ الصّالِحُ،
وَعَنْ أُمُورٍ مُستَقِيمَةٍ يَتَحَدَّثُ.
31 شَرِيعَةُ إلَهِهِ فِي قَلبِهِ.
بِها يَعمَلُ دائِماً.
32 الشِّرِّيرُ يُراقِبُ الصّالِحِينَ دَوْماً
مُتَفَكِّراً فِي طُرُقٍ لِقَتلِهِمْ.
33 لَكِنَّ اللهَ لا يَترُكُ الإنسانَ الصّالِحَ،
لا يَدَعُهُ اللهُ يُدانُ فِي المُحاكَمَةِ.
34 انتَظِرِ اللهَ وَاعْمَلْ بِكَلامِهِ،
وَهُوَ يَرفَعُكَ فَتَمْتَلِكَ الأرْضَ،
وَتَرَى الأشْرارَ يَهلِكُونَ.
35 رَأيتُ مَرَّةً طاغِيَةً مُسْتبِدّاً،
مُتَشَامِخاً كأرْزِ لُبْنانَ.
36 ثُمَّ مَرَرْتُ بِهِ ثانِيَةً، فَلَمْ أجِدْهُ.
بَحَثْتُ عَنْهُ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَوضِعٌ.
37 لاحِظِ الأتقِياءَ الأُمَناءَ.
فَآخِرَةُ مُحِبِّي السَّلامِ صالِحَةٌ.
38 أمّا كاسِرُو الشَّرِيعَةِ فَيَهلِكُونَ جَمِيعاً،
لِأنَّهُمْ سَيُقطَعُونَ مِنَ الأرْضِ.
39 يَنصُرُ اللهُ الأبرارَ،
هُوَ حِصْنُهُمْ فِي الضِّيقِ.
40 يُعِينُهُمْ اللهُ وَيُحَرِّرُهُمْ.
وَمِنَ الأشْرارِ يُنقِذُهُمْ.
لِأنَّهُمْ إلَيهِ يَلجأونَ.

Salmo 17 (2-4.47.51)

Ti amo, Signore, mia forza,
Signore, mia roccia,
mia fortezza, mio liberatore.

Mio Dio, mia rupe, in cui mi rifugio;
mio scudo, mia potente salvezza e mio baluardo.
Invoco il Signore, degno di lode,
e sarò salvato dai miei nemici.

Viva il Signore e benedetta la mia roccia,
sia esaltato il Dio della mia salvezza.
Egli concede al suo re grandi vittorie,
si mostra fedele al suo consacrato.

Psaume 17 (2-4.47.51)

Je t’aime, Seigneur, ma force :
Seigneur, mon roc, ma forteresse,
Dieu mon libérateur, le rocher qui m’abrite,
mon bouclier, mon fort, mon arme de victoire !
Louange à Dieu !
Quand je fais appel au Seigneur,
je suis sauvé de tous mes ennemis.
Vive le Seigneur ! Béni soit mon Rocher !
Qu’il triomphe, le Dieu de ma victoire,
Il donne à son roi de grandes victoires,
il se montre fidèle à son messie.

You who gave great victories to your king

أُحِبُّكَ يا اللهُ، يا قُوَّتِي!
اللهُ هُوَ الصَّخْرَةُ الّتِي ألتَجِئُ إلَيْها.
إلَهِي دِرْعِي.
قُوَّتُهُ تُنْقِذُنِي وَتَنْصُرُنِي.
نادَيْتُ اللهَ الّذِي يَسْتَحِقُّ التَّسْبِيحَ،
فَخَلَصْتُ مِنْ أعْدائِي!
اللهُ حيٌّ!
أمَجِّدُ صَخْرَتِي!
اللَّهُ عَظِيمٌ!
هُوَ الصَّخْرَةُ الّتِي تُنْقِذُنِي.
يُعينُ اللهُ مَلِكَهُ ليفوزَ بِمعارِكَ كثيرةٍ!
يُظْهِرُ رَحْمَتَهُ لملِكِه المَمسُوحِ.
