Preghiamo con Padre Paolo dall’Oglio con questo salmo:
Salmo 121
1 Canto delle salite.
Alzo gli occhi verso i monti:
da dove mi verrà l’aiuto?
2 Il mio aiuto viene dal Signore:
egli ha fatto cielo e terra.
3 Non lascerà vacillare il tuo piede,
non si addormenterà il tuo custode.
4 Non si addormenterà, non prenderà sonno
il custode d’Israele.
5 Il Signore è il tuo custode,
il Signore è la tua ombra
e sta alla tua destra.
6 Di giorno non ti colpirà il sole,
né la luna di notte.
7 Il Signore ti custodirà da ogni male:
egli custodirà la tua vita.
8 Il Signore ti custodirà quando esci e quando entri,
da ora e per sempre.

1 A song of ascents
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
